As The Rodent Turns

Some time ago Autumn just HAD to have a cat.  It was the ONLY thing that would make her happy.  You have to feed it.  I will.  You have to change the litter box.  Oh, I will.  It's a lot of responsibility.  I know.

Autumn is now willing to trade the cat, Snowball in case you didn't know, for a hamster.  She actually has a list of coveted items with a cell phone holding the number one spot, followed by a laptop at a close number two, and a hamster squeaking it at number three.  Oh yes, I went there...  The cell phone is out because I'm a tyrant and she can have one when she is able to pay for one, the laptop is a no-go because it will not benefit her and she needs to read more than she needs to play 13th Skull, so here we are at the hamster.  Maybe we'll get her one, maybe we wont.  The point of all this is another one of her persuasive papers trying to reason, wait...let me put that in quotes, "reason" with us and convince us she needs a hamster.  I feel the work speaks for itself.

  1. This is great! I can't help but remember the night, though, that the cat ate Nicole's hamster . . .

  2. While I think Autumn is close to perfection, of course, she might work on her spelling - just a wee bit - in between her afore-mentioned reading assignments : ).

  3. Stand firm against the hamster. Even when you can't see them you know they're there...somewhere...scratching....sniffing.....being mouse-like....
